CPR/AED Training

CPR training can take 2 different forms: The first is for the lay rescuer (teachers, coaches, personal trainers) and is called Heartsaver CPR training. The second is for Health Care Providers and professional rescuers (doctors, nurses, EMT's). All classes include training on the Automated External Defibrillator and an overview of how to respond to choking.

This training is for individuals who need a strong grasp of the basics of CPR for adults, children and/or infants. AED (Automated External Defibrillator) usage and protocols for choking are also covered. Appropriate for coaches, safety personnel, Scouts, personal trainers and anyone who wants or needs to know how to save a life. First Aid classes are typically taught on the same day as Heartsaver CPR but can be taught as stand alone classes.  Topics for the First Aid class includes: Responding to emergencies, Illnesses and Injury and Environmental issues.

This training is for medical professionals or those individuals who work in medical environments. CPR for adults, children and infants with the use of barrier devices is covered along with the use of an AED.
